Celebrating The Life of Clayton Gittens

On June 15th, 2020, my childhood friend and music partner Clayton Gittens passed away. I want to celebrate this beautiful person's life and music with all of you.  I'd like you to know who he was and how he influenced my life and music, and how we influenced each other since the age of 15yrs old.

Let's listen to the story's, music, and basement recordings from back in the 70s, to celebrate his energy and life.

    • Hey there Teresa,

Yes, there are so many great memories with Clay and his family. One day last year we talked about the look of death our dads use to give us back in those days!
Where you in the church the night we performed back in 1979?

    • Hi Vickey,

Yes, my dear. I know that’s your Dad. He told me about you and your brother. Your Dad and I were friends since we were 14yrs old. The band we played in was the first time he and I ever played in. Your Dad and I were like brothers, go! We would talk on the phone some days for 8hrs with no brake. There were soooooo many story’s from our childhood, as parents, musicians, history and so much more. I miss him everyday!!

I hope you and your brother are doing well, and are enjoying the life as an extension of him!
