My daughter talked me into going back to Queens NY to visit the neighborhood I grew up in, to do an interview.

I thought it was a great idea, especially because my family knows my love for my childhood and my early beginnings.

It was an extra special treat because my daughter is the young lady interviewing me. I could have never imagined, my oldest child, my wife, my youngest son, and my granddaughter accompanying me back to where it all started.

Walking up and down the sidewalks of Ridgedale St, in Queens NY, talking about my music, my future dreams while standing in front of the house where it all started, 187-12 Ridgedale St. Very surreal!

    • Hey Charles,

I could not agree with you more, going back to the beginning is grounding, it reminds me of the beginnings of my life and journey. It allows me to see how far I’ve come in my life, while at the same time, letting my children and grandchildren know where I came from. It’s such a good experience! Thank’s buddy!
