Composers Notes
"Gentle," and the personal journey that inspired it.
In moments of fear and anger, I found solace behind the keys of my piano—a sanctuary where emotions could be expressed and transformed. As I navigated the challenges of PTSD, I discovered the power of music to heal and uplift.
From this journey emerged "Gentle," my inaugural solo piano piece. Drawing from classical, soul, and gospel influences, "Gentle" is a heartfelt expression of love, healing, and resilience. It serves as a testament to the beauty that can arise from even the most tumultuous emotions.

When you listen to "Gentle," you're experiencing the raw, unfiltered recording from the day it was born—a genuine reflection of my journey to healing. There are no retakes or edits; what you hear is played once and recorded once.
I invite you to immerse yourself in the soothing melodies of "Gentle" and embark on your own voyage of self-discovery. Let the music envelop you, and may you find peace and tranquility within its harmonies.
