Der Red Max

Der Red Max was one of my favorite rockets as a kid. My best friend Christopher gave me his Red Max back in 1975. Chris was cool like that!

We flew it one day and the wind took it away. I always wanted another one. I learned back in June that Christopher passed in August 2016. Oddly enough the same month I was born.

When I got back into my childhood hobbies in the spring of 2017. Der Red Max was the first rocket I purchased. To honor Chris and to replace a rocket I loved.
